Get Connected

I love to connect with readers and those who share a passion for Christian fiction. It is my desire to be a blessing to you. If you have a prayer request or would simply like to chat, please send me a note. I read each message individually and will respond as soon as I am able.

Here are some additional ways that we can connect:

Monthly Contest!

Do you like free books? Do you enjoy Christian historical fiction? Well, I've got a contest for you. Everyone who signs up for my newsletter will be entered into a drawing for a set of books each month. And the beauty of it is, once you are signed up, you will automatically be entered in all future monthly giveaways as well. So the eariler you sign up, the more chances you have to win. The books will all be Christian historical romance fiction, either new or recent releases.

In August, the winner will receive:

  • A Hopeful Heart - by Kim Vogel Sawyer
  • The Prodigal Patriot - a signed copy from Darlene Franklin

To enter, simply follow the directions below to sign up for the newsletter, and as a bonus, everyone who enters gets a free gift. (See below for more details.) I will announce the winner on Facebook at the end of each month. I will also post the next month's giveaway titles here on my Web site. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations to Christy Janes, July's winner of A Surrendered Heart by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller as well as Wildflower Hearts by Vickie McDonough.

Newsletter and Free Gift:

In an effort to respect your time and not clutter your inbox, I will only send out two newsletters a year. You will receive information about my newest releases, but also I hope to inspire you with a short spiritual thought and perhaps a fun historical tidbit or two. Click here to sign up for the newsletter.

Also, everyone who signs up for my newsletter gets a free gift!

As my way of saying thank you, I am offering a free download of a Bible study based on the life of Rahab. I enjoy digging into the stories of biblical women and learning how God used them, flaws and all, to accomplish his purposes. This Bible study is unique in that it combines biblical fiction with scriptural study to engage both the heart and mind. You can use this for personal study or in a group setting. Discussion questions are included.

Have Karen Speak to Your Group:

Would you be interested in having me speak to your church group, book club, or writers' gathering? Please contact me with the details, and I will let you know my schedule.
